Stowe Mountain Resort, Stowe

TERRAIN PARKS: Parks for all skill levels, including an Olympic-sized superpipe.

FUN FACTS: Lots of mountain-long runs, plus a gondola!

 

Killington, Killington

FUN FACTS: The largest ski area in Vermont.

 

Mad River Glen, Waitsfield

FUN FACTS: Skiers only.  Skip school on January 25 and ski for $3.50 all day on Roll Back the Clock Day.

 

Middlebury College Bowl, Middlebury

FUN FACTS: A Middlebury College facility.

 

Pico Mountain, Killington

TERRAIN PARKS: The triple slope terrain park.

FUN FACTS: Considerably less crowded than Killington next door.

 

Sugarbush, Waitsfield

TERRAIN PARKS: Multiple progression terrain parks.

TICKET PRICES: $60-84 full day;  $64-69 half day.

FUN FACTS: Save money by getting a Mount Ellen ticket: $47-67 full day and $46-52 afternoon. Deployed Vermont Guard families get a free seasons pass.
